Would you date someone if you hate their style?
No.
Just no.
There have been several guys that I have been on dates with and when I eventually see their apartment I immediately think, “This will never work out…”
There may be the few people out there that who they are is completely divorced from what their style is but for the most part your style is a statement of you.
And I am sort of superficial sometimes.
